Rodong Sinmun Calls for Preserving Principle of Giving Priority to Self-development
Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- Self-development is a powerful weapon for building a thriving nation, and the final victory of the revolution lies in the road of strenuous efforts. This is a steadfast faith and will of the army and people of the DPRK.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says this in an article.

Self-development is a powerful treasured sword for building a thriving nation, the article notes, and goes on:

The principle of giving priority to self-development means the deep awareness and trust that the strenuous efforts are the first in the revolution and construction and the steadfast determination and will to strengthen the strenuous efforts and solve all problems by relying on it.

Only when strong is the will to strengthen one's own, one can create everything from scratch and build up the invincible national power while racing against time.

Self-development, the ideological and spiritual source, helps the revolutionary people achieve prosperity of the country with their redoubled efforts, not being carried away by the already achieved successes.

Their self-development is an invincible power based on the great Juche idea and the most powerful strength whose full play is to be given by the harmonious whole of Marshal Kim Jong Un and all service personnel and people.

The service personnel and people of the DPRK have successfully translated into practice the plans and determinations of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. Their self-development is stirring up the whole world as they make redoubled efforts in the great era of Kim Jong Un.

Only when all service personnel and people get united around Kim Jong Un in single mind and dynamically advance under the uplifted banner of the self-development-first principle, the great victory will be achieved and the greatest heyday of building a thriving nation opened in the run up to the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
