Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Denmark

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 74th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark on February 2. H. Jacobsen, member of the Leadership of the Communist Party in Denmark, and Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. The committee discussed the issue of organizing colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
