Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Slovakia

| Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- A Slovak preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Bratislava on Jan. 30. Ivan Draxler, chairman of the Slovak Association for Supporting the Juche Idea and chairman of the Slovakia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set the celebration period from February 1 to April 20 and decided to significantly organize colorful political and cultural events to praise the immortal revolutionary careers and exploits of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu. |
