The Western countries forget the fact that the DPRK was severely destroyed by the U.S. forces' merciless bombing during the Korean War but the Korean people vividly remember it.

That is why the DPRK had access to the nuclear deterrent, weathering all difficulties. This could not but be a natural choice prompted by its determination not to suffer the disasters of a war again.

It is as clear as noonday that the DPRK will not be the first to use nuclear weapons.

The U.S. will be compelled to recognize the DPRK's sovereignty.
