Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Pakistan

| Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- A Pakistani national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Karachi on Jan. 20. Former Senator Amar Jit was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to arrange diverse political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il to mark the Day of the Shining Star. |
