Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Slovenia

| Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- A Slovenian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Maribor City on Jan. 20. Igor Jurisic, chairman of the Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events in praise of the exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the capital and local areas from Jan. 20 to April 18. |
