Day of Sun and Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Venezuela

| Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- A Venezuelan preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star (birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il) was formed in Maracay City, Aragua State on Jan. 19. Omar Lopez, chairman of the Venezuelan National Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. |
