Day of Sun and Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in DR Congo

| Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of DR Congo for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star (birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il) was formed in Kinshasa on January 16. Andre Lohekele Kalonda, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to significantly hold political and cultural events praising the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il from January 20 to April 15. |
