The issue of reunifying Korea is not the matter of settling the contradiction among Koreans but that of putting an end to the outside forces' moves for aggression against the Korean nation.

The idea of By Our Nation Itself requires all Koreans to reject and oppose sycophancy and dependence on the outsiders and maintain a steadfast stand on national independence.

If the south Korean authorities persistently follow the U.S. which escalates the tension in the Korean Peninsula, stretching its tentacles of interference to south Korea whenever there is a sign of improving the inter-Korean relations, it is impossible to achieve the national reconciliation and unity and the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

The inter-Korean relations have been put on the altar of the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK due to the south Korean conservative ruling forces who regard sycophancy and dependence on the outsiders as a mode of their existence.

They should cooperate with the compatriots, not with the outsiders, in order to achieve national reunification and prosperity.

No one can match the Korean nation when it goes united close as it is a homogenous one with one and the same history. This is proven by the history of the development of the inter-Korean relations which witnessed the June 15 era of reunification.

No force can replace the Korean nation in achieving its reunification.

The Koreans should be a main player in the struggle for achieving the reunification of the country, guided by the idea of By Our Nation Itself as they stake their destiny on the reunification and prosperity of the country.
