According to the "situation of employment in December, 2015 and whole year" announced by the Statistics Agency of south Korea on January 13, the rate of joblessness of young people last year was higher than that in the previous year, recording an all time high since the statistics standard changed in 1999.

The south Korean Yonhap News said although the young people of south Korea desperately knocked the door of employment market, the rate of joblessness of young people has been on the increase because the opportunity of job seeking has not widened.
