Present at the meeting were representatives of the Yanbian Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China and affiliated branches and members of the Yanbian Regional Association of the Federation of Korean Young Nationals in China.

They heard the DPRK's government statement at the meeting.

Speakers said that Juche Korea's successful first H-bomb test under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un was a great event to be specially recorded in the national history spanning 5 000 years.

The first H-bomb test is not only a striking demonstration of the tremendous national power of the country but also a just measure for self-defense taken to firmly protect the sovereignty of the country and the vital rights of the nation from the daily growing nuclear threat and blackmail by the U.S.-led hostile forces and reliably guarantee peace in the Korean Peninsula and regional security.

They said that the Koreans in China would turn out more vigorously in the patriotic undertaking for the prosperity and independent reunification of the country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
