Big Efforts Paid to Educational Science in DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Pedagogical Science in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea strives to make fresh successes in its work for this year, in response to supreme leader Kim Jong Un's New Year address. The General Education Institute set it as its target to improve the standard of the universal 12-year compulsory education. The Higher and Normal Education Institute is concentrating efforts on the work to compile the world educational science dictionary and create database on world educational science. Researchers of other related institutes work hard to further develop the educational work. Meanwhile, the Academy has taken a series of measures to elevate the qualification of teachers. |
