Among them are brass wares produced by the Pyongyang Taesong Jewel Processing Factory. They are such 10-odd kinds of utensils as cooking brazier, tableware, kettle and tea-cup widely used by Koreans from olden times.

According to Ri Chol Bae, manager of the Factory, those products are now winning a great popularity among the citizens as they are good in quality and comfortable in use and lighter and better in weight and shape than the past ones.

The brass wares gained favor at exhibitions held in different countries.

Brass cooking brazier, spoon and chopsticks and vessels for noodle and boiled rice were appreciated as the best home products in December 2015 and awarded the December 15 medals for quality and certificate.
