Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- Political figures of DR Congo and Myanmar released statements in support of Marshal Kim Jong Un's New Year Address.

Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the DR Congo, said on January 2:

Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address clarified the successes achieved by the Korean people last year and tasks to be carried out this year.

The successes of the Korean people last year mean historic victory achieved by them in their struggle for defending socialism, achieving the reunification of the country and global peace under his leadership.

On the same day Tha Win, member of the Central Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar and secretary of the its Yangon Regional Committee, noted that the New Year Address clarifies the important issues to be held fast to by the party and government of the DPRK as important guidelines.

He urged the south Korean authorities to reject foreign intervention and resolve the issues of inter-Korean relations and national reunification independently in keeping with the independent aspirations and demands of the whole Korean nation.

Convinced that the party and people of the DPRK would achieve great successes in building a thriving nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, he extended support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for carrying out the tasks set forth in the New Year Address.
