Important Days of DPRK Marked in Switzerland, Sweden

Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- There took place a seminar on Marshal Kim Jong Un's work, meeting and book and photo exhibition in Switzerland and a meeting in Sweden on December 19 to celebrate the 24th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the fourth anniversary of Kim Jong Un's assumption of the supreme commandership of the KPA and the 98th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

On display in the venues of the events were art pieces depicting the images of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and photos dealing with the exploits of the great leaders and Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were their works, and books and photos introducing the achievements made by the service personnel and people of the DPRK.

The participants laid bouquets and flowers before art pieces depicting the images of the great leaders and paid tribute to them.

Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, explained the main contents of the speech made by Kim Jong Un at the military parade and public procession of Pyongyang citizens celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, said he was rejoiced over the successes achieved in the DPRK and extended full support to the Korean people's struggle.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events.
