Death of Kim Yang Gon Mourned

| Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Officials of the party, armed forces bodies, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, former unconverted long-term prisoners, and people from all walks of life Wednesday visited the bier of Kim Yang Gon, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, expressing deep condolences over his death. A wreath sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un was seen standing before the bier. Placed there were wreaths in the names of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, the Cabinet of the DPRK, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, ministries and national institutions. They observed a moment's silence in memory of the late Kim Yang Gon. They expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased. |
