Korean Human Rights Association in Japan Denounces S. Korean Authorities' Servility to Japan
Tokyo, December 29 (KNS-KCNA) -- The Korean Human Rights Association in Japan Tuesday made public a statement in denunciation of shameful servility of the south Korean authorities challenging the wishes of the nation to settle the past crimes of the Japanese imperialists.

The statement said that the "agreement" between Japan and south Korea over the issue of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army is the unreasonable political bargaining chip as it nullifies Japan's state and legitimate responsibility for the past crimes in disregard of the dignity and human rights of the victims of the sexual slavery.

There would never be "final" and "irreversible" settlement of the most brutal inhuman crimes in history without Japan's acknowledgement of legal liability and sincere apology and reparation to the whole Korean people, the statement said, adding:

We strongly demand the south Korean authorities stop at once challenging the just struggle of all Koreans for the settlement of the past crimes of Japan being servile to Japan.
