They arrived in Sinphyong County of the province on Dec. 22.

They were greeted by Pak Thae Dok, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Im Hun, chairman of the North Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee, Jo Jun Hak, chairman of the North Hwanghae Provincial Rural Economy Committee, and other officials concerned, working people and school youth and children.

The red flag was handed over to members of the relay group of the province at Toum-ri, Sinphyong County.

They laid floral baskets and bouquets and made bows before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Sariwon City and the mosaics depicting their beaming images in significant places.

They visited the Phyongam Revolutionary Site, the youth work-team of the Phyongam Cooperative Farm and the Singok Revolutionary Museum.

They joined youth and students in the province in holding an oath-taking meeting.

They visited the Sariwon Essential Foodstuff Factory, North Hwanghae Provincial Library, the Migok Cooperative Farm in Sariwon City and other places of the city.

At Songrim City they went round different production processes of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex.

During the journey they held various political and cultural events.
