Officials and agricultural workers of the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, the Kosan Combined Fruit Farm and those in the field of pomiculture of Kwail and Pukchong counties achieved many successes through the dynamic socialist emulation for decisively raising the per hectare fruit yield, thereby putting the fruit production on a more modern, scientific and intensive basis.

A meeting of reviewing the emulation took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Tuesday.

Present there were Kwak Pom Gi, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Chol Man, vice-premier and minister of Agriculture, officials of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, officials concerned and agricultural workers.

A certificate of commendation and rotating pennant were awarded to the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm.

Basic outlines of a 2016 socialist emulation for increased production were announced there.
