Kim Jong Suk's Birth Anniversary Observed Abroad
Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) - The 98th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk was observed in Mongolia and Bangladesh on Dec. 20 and 22.

A photo of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Suk was prominently displayed at the venue of a meeting held at Kim Jong Suk Kindergarten in Ulan Bator.

A. Narangerel, director of the kindergarten, underscored the need to improve the management and operation of the kindergarten going by the august name of Kim Jong Suk and make a positive contribution to the development of the friendly relations between the two countries.

A congratulatory message to Marshal Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.

A lecture given at the Bangladeshi paper The Daily Folk under the sponsorship of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy was attended by over 100 people including the members of the group, workers, teachers and students.

M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the group, said that Kim Jong Suk performed the greatest feats by protecting Kim Il Sung in battlefields of the anti-Japanese war at the risk of her life, adding:

She is always remembered by the Korean people as the incarnation of defending the leader unto death.

At the end of the lecture its participants watched Korean film "Arms of Korea."
