Ceremony of Awarding State Commendations Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- State commendations were awarded to scientists, technicians, teachers and other working people, service personnel and officials who rendered great services for glorifying this year as the year of great revolutionary events to be specially recorded in the history of Songun Korea and for demonstrating the dignity and might of the great Paektusan nation.

A ceremony of awarding the state commendations for Juche 104 (2015) took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Friday.

Present there were Kim Yong Nam, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Yang Hyong Sop and Kim Phyong Hae, and scientists, technicians, teachers and other people, service personnel and officials.

Order of Kim Il Sung was awarded to Cha Jong Bom and Kim Pok Nam, Order of Kim Jong Il to Choe Yong and the title of DPRK Labor Hero and Gold Medal (Hammer and Sickle) and Order of National Flag First Class to Ri Chon Su , Yang Mun Sang and 8 others. Kim Il Sung Prize went to Kim Yong Hui, Kim Jong Il Prize to Choe Song Chon, watches bearing the august name of President Kim Il Sung to Jo Sok Chol, O Chol Si and twelve others, citations of supreme leader Kim Jong Un to Kim Mun Chol, Kim Chon Ung and 21 others, citations of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un to Kim Kwang Hyok and Sin Jong Nam, Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize to So Tong Il and three others and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to Ju Song Gun and five others.

Honorary titles were also conferred upon persons of merit and Order of National Flag First Class upon O Su Nam, Ri Sang Sop, Ri In Chol and 51 others.

Order of Labor went to four persons and Order of National Flag Second Class to 25 persons.
