KCTU Stages All-night Sit-in
Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) staged the large-scale all-night sit-in for checking the retrogressive revision of labor law and frustrating the police's suppression in Seoul on December 22, according to the south Korean newspaper Nodong and Segye.

Before starting the strike KCTU held a candlelight rally.

At the rally speakers denounced the "Saenuri Party" and the "government" for trying to make workers slaves of capital.

They called upon workers to pool their efforts to make 2016 a year of achieving rights of workers.

At the end of the rally core members of KCTU from all parts of south Korea went into the all-night sit-in around the "National Assembly" building.

KCTU declared it would continue the sit-in strike till the "National Assembly" stops the discussion on the bill on labor.
