A deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana said this in his statement issued on Dec. 14 on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

He said Kim Jong Il was not only the greatest man who devoted his whole life to the happiness of the people but a peerless statesman who built the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) into a vanguard unit of the popular masses and a fine example for the world progressive parties to follow.

He, on behalf of the leadership of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana, heartily wished the WPK led by Marshal Kim Jong Un great success in the sacred struggle of building a thriving nation.
