Media carried portraits of smiling leader Kim Jong Il and his photos, and a photo of Kim Jong Il standing together with Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The Dec. 9th issue of the newspaper Rio Panorama said in an article titled "The whole life for the future" that Kim Jong Il dedicated his all to the future of the DPRK true to the intention of President Kim Il Sung.

The newspaper Vladivostok on Dec. 9 carried an article titled "Honoring the memory of Comrade Kim Jong Il".

The Korean people have held him in high esteem as the eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and added shine to his exploits. These are a reflection of their noblest moral obligation and loyalty to him who made special contributions to the building of a thriving socialist nation and the cause of human independence.

The Korean people have made great changes in all fields and spheres of society by accelerating the dynamic advance to carry out his behests.

The Dec. 11th issue of the newspaper Byvor carried an article titled "Eternal chairman of NDC of the DPRK. The article said that he established the state machinery with the NDC as a pivot and provided a firm legal guarantee for the Songun politics and thus laid the foundations for the DPRK to prosper forever.

The Irkutsk website in an article on Dec. 5 said that the Korean people had carried out his behests without an inch of deflection, keeping boundless reverence and invariable loyalty to him for the past four years.
