Mozambican President Calls for Developing Relations with DPRK
Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- Minister of Public Health of the DPRK Kang Ha Guk, who is leading a DPRK government delegation on a visit to Mozambique, met and had a talk with Filipe Nwussi, president of the Republic of Mozambique, at the presidential palace on December 18.

The Mozambican president expressed deep thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un for sending the DPRK government delegation with much importance attached to the development of bilateral relations. He went on:

The relations between the two countries, provided by President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il, the great leaders of Korea, and the preceding leaders of Mozambique, are special relations with a long history.

Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il rendered unsparing support for the independence and building of a new society of Mozambique and the Mozambican government and people boundlessly revere Kim Il Sung, President of the Korean people, evidenced by the existence of Kim Il Sung Street in the centre of Maputo city.

The Mozambican president said that he would make all efforts to further develop the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation which were cultivated by the preceding leaders of the two countries, and he sincerely congratulated the DPRK government on gaining great successes in the work of building an economic power and improving the people's standard of living under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
