Young Runners Pass through Kangwon Province
Wonsan, December 22 (KCNA) -- Loyal members of the relay group of young vanguard passed through Kangwon Province, flying a red flag in their van.

They arrived at Pobtong County, Kangwon Province on Dec. 14, where they were greeted by officials concerned, people from all walks of life and school youths and children.

The red flag was handed over to a relay group of the province at Sangso-ri, Pobtong County.

They laid floral baskets and bouquets and made bows before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Wonsan City and the Songdowon International Children's Camp, the statue of the President at Hero Munchon Senior Secondary School in Munchon City and the mosaics depicting the smiling peerlessly great men and their images in various historical places.

On Chol Pass they looked back upon the leadership feats of the peerlessly great men.

They visited the Ryongpho Revolutionary Site associated with the exploits the President performed by leading the Fatherland Liberation War to a victory, and toured Wonsan University of Agriculture, Munphyong Smeltery, Wonsan Youth Power Station and Chonsam Co-op Farm in Anbyon County.

They also toured the Songdowon International Children's Camp, Wonsan Baby Home and Orphanage.

They joined youths and students in Kangwon Province in holding an oath-taking meeting.

They held a meeting at Anbyon County to renew their pledge to annihilate the U.S. imperialists and their followers if they dare provoke a war.

During the journey they did various political and cultural activities such as hearing impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerillas read by them and holding an oratorical meeting.
