S. Korean Police Accused of Labeling Peaceful Rally as "Illegal One"

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- The south Korean newspaper Hangyore in an editorial on Dec. 21 denounced the conservative group for getting frantic in crackdown on the participants in the 3rd all-out people's action.

The editorial recalled that there took place in a peaceful way the 3rd all-out people's action in different parts of south Korea including Seoul on Dec. 19. It said:

But the police claimed that the rally changed into a "politically-motivated rally". It is absurd that the police declared that it would take a legal action against the sponsor side and participants on charges of violation of the "law on rally and demonstration".
