At a plenary meeting of the political advisory board of the Foreign Ministry on Dec. 17, Yun talked about "strategic provocation" by the north, according to a south Korean newspaper.

He even claimed that it is necessary to direct more efforts to the deterrence diplomacy through cooperation with the U.S. and neighboring countries while keeping a close watch on the tendency of the north and, make efforts to lead it to the dialogue for denuclearization.

His invectives are a blatant challenge and an unpardonable provocation against the DPRK making sincere efforts for dialogue.

The south Korean conservative authorities can never evade the blame for derailing the inter-Korean dialogue and marring the climate for the improvement of the relations.
