She, who was born into a poor peasant family in Hwangju County, North Hwanghae Province on Dec. 18, Juche 4 (1915), was subject to all sorts of maltreatment and exploitation under the Japanese imperialist rule.

It was not until the liberation of Korea by President Kim Il Sung that she enjoyed dignity and a worthy life as human being.

She made sincere efforts to carry out her work and contributed to the agricultural production after becoming a pensioner.

She has had a balanced diet and leads an optimistic life. She raised many children and sent them to the posts of national defence and labor-consuming fields. She always calls upon them to uphold the socialist system.
