High Tribute Paid to Kim Jong Il in DPRK
Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Service personnel and people across the country honored the memory of leader Kim Jong Il in the humblest reverence on Thursday, the fourth anniversary of his demise.

Service personnel, working people of all strata and school youth and children visited the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, in an endless stream.

They paid tribute before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Service personnel, working people from all walks of life and school youth and children visited the statues of the great leaders and portraits depicting their smiling images in different parts of the country to pay the humblest tribute to them.

There took place remembrance concerts by artistes, youth and students and women's union members in North Phyongan, South Hwanghae, North Hwanghae, Kangwon, South Hamgyong provinces and other places.

The performers sang high praises of the sacred revolutionary career and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il who demonstrated the dignity and might of Songun Korea to the world.

Youth and students and persons who had the honor of being received by Kim Jong Il across the country held remembrance meetings.

Oath-taking meetings took place by working people's organizations in different parts of the country.
