In the message the president said on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of demise of HE Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, he extends the deepest respect to Kim Jong Il, the great leader, and expresses firm solidarity with Kim Jong Un and the friendly people of the DPRK on behalf of the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and on his own behalf.

Kim Jong Il will live forever as an outstanding leader of matchless grit as he performed the undying feats for defending the socialist cause and turning the great DPRK into an independent country, the message said.

The message expressed hope that the bilateral friendly and cooperative relations with a long history and tradition will grow stronger in all fields.
