Songs "We Will Go to Mt. Paektu" and "Let's Not Abandon Revolutionary Faith Though One May Die" have created a public response, instilling the revolutionary enthusiasm into all the people. These songs can be heard from different parts of the country as it fully represents the spirit of Kim Jong Un's era and encourages them to make achievements in their efforts to build a thriving nation.

New popular songs also include "Everlasting Echo", "Three Years-long War" and "Mother's Birthday", which vividly show the struggle and life of the Korean people and their aspiration and hope.

On the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK, there took place a joint performance given by the State Merited Chorus and the Moranbong Band, an art performance by the Chongbong Band and the 10 000-strong art performance "Great Party, Rosy Korea".

The artistes of the Korean People's Army have taken the lead in the activities to create enthusiastic music and art works.

In August this year when the situation on the Korean Peninsula was led to the brink of war, the State Merited Chorus inspired all the army and people of the DPRK to defending the country and speeding up the building of the thriving nation through its frontline performances. And the chorus reproduced the song "We'll Travel One Road Forever" with orchestral music and male chorus to be a masterpiece of national treasure in October.

The Moranbong Band has also played an important role in encouraging the army and people to build a thriving nation.

Among songs the band created and put on the stage were "His Humanity" and "We Will Follow You Forever".

All the songs created this year are giving a strong impetus to the campaign of the Korean people to significantly greet with unprecedented labor achievements the 7th Congress of the WPK to be held early in May 2016.
