Relay Group of Young Vanguard Passes through South Phyongan Province
Phyongsong, December 14 (KCNA) -- Loyal members of the relay group of young vanguard arrived at Anju City, South Phyongan Province on Dec, 6.

They were greeted by Pak Thae Song, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kang Hyong Bong, chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, people from all walks of life and school youth and children.

Members of the relay group of young vanguard of the province took over the red flag in Unhak-ri, Anju City. They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Phyongsong City, the statue of Kim Il Sung at the Paeksong Revolutionary Site and portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and mosaics depicting their beaming images in different units and paid tribute to them.

They held a meeting with young front-rankers in noble traits in Anju City.

They visited the Madusan Revolutionary Battle Site and were briefed on the trees bearing revolutionary slogans which reflect the unshakable faith and will, indomitable fighting spirit of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners.

They took part in the oath-taking meeting of youth and students in South Phyongan Province.

After looking round the Paeksong and Samhwa revolutionary sites and Kumchon Revolutionary Site, they held an oratorical meeting together with youth and students in Sunchon City.

They toured the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine and other units.

They arrived in Yangdok County amid the welcome of working people and school youth and children.

They went round the Hyangphung Revolutionary Site and others and held a bonfire gathering.
