Angkor Panorama Hall Opens in Cambodia
Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- The Angkor Panorama Hall built in cooperation with the DPRK in Siem Reap Province of Cambodia opened on December 4.

Present there were figures of all social standings of Cambodia including the deputy prime minister who doubles as minister of the Council of Ministers, the senior minister, the minister of Culture and Arts, the minister of Tourism and the governor of Siem Reap Province and the masses, the DPRK ambassador to Cambodia and persons concerned.

A report and speeches were made there.

Sok An, deputy prime minister who doubles as minister of the Council of Ministers, said that the valuable friendly and cooperative relations between Cambodia and the DPRK were provided by Great King Norodom Sihanouk and President Kim Il Sung and they have developed on good terms under the great care of the leaders of the two countries.

He highly appreciated the fact that the hall was successfully built in terms of architectural and formative artistry thanks to the efforts by relevant organizations of the two countries and their close cooperation.

The panorama created by the DPRK's ace creators vividly shows the history and culture of the Angkor region, he said.

The hall will contribute to the economic development of Cambodia as well as the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, he added.

The deputy prime minister who doubles as minister of the Council of Ministers and the DPRK ambassador cut the tape for inauguration of the hall.

After the event the participants looked round the hall.
