On display at the festival were over 400 achievements made this year in scientific researches for rapidly developing the nation's latest science and technology, building an economic power and improving the people's living standard.

The festival was divided into various panels including electric power and electronics, coal and ore mining industries and metal and machine-building industries.

Its closing ceremony took place on Friday.
