Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Paektu Association of Finland, and Pekka Kotkasaari, chairman of the Finland－Korea Society, were elected co-chairmen of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events including remembrance meeting and reading session on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Il.
