Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- In hearty response to the appeal made by the workers of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex to greet the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) with high political enthusiasm and unprecedented labor achievements, all other workers in the DPRK have turned out in a drive for making constant innovations on every front of economic construction.

A great production upswing is now witnessed at metal, power, coal and other industrial establishments across the country.

Kim Chang Sok, director of a department of the Ministry of Coal Industry, told KCNA: The appeal made by the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex workers inspires the colliers to the campaign for increased production. True to the WPK's intention, we will further increase the coal production by introducing the advanced mining methods.
