The director of the International Affairs Department of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia said in a report that Kim Jong Il was a peerless statesman who safeguarded socialism by pursuing the great Songun politics.

The director went on:

Kim Jong Il was a great man who implemented the line of independence in politics, self-support in economy and self-reliance in national defence, turning the DPRK into a power which no enemy dares provoke.

He was a father of the people who dedicated himself to them, regarding it as his motto to believe in them as in Heaven and always finding himself among them.

The DPRK has adhered to the independent stand and demonstrated its might as a power. This would have been unthinkable without the exploits of Kim Jong Il who was possessed of matchless grit and courage.

The chairman of the Communist Party of Tajikistan said:

Kim Jong Il is always remembered not only by the Korean people but by the world progressives as a great leader.

He developed in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung.

He frustrated every move of the imperialist allied forces to stifle the DPRK and firmly defended socialism with his Songun revolutionary leadership.

Thanks to his wise leadership, the DPRK emerged a political, ideological and military power which even the U.S. dares not provoke.
