Alexander Fedosov, chairman of the Russia-Korea Friendship Association of Khabarovsk Territory who doubles as deputy prime minister of the Khabarovsk Territory Government, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of his demise.
