Rodong Sinmun on Kim Jong Il's Love for People
Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- Love for the people was a motto leader Kim Jong Il and the core idea that characterized his brilliant revolutionary career.

Rodong Sinmun on Monday says this in an editorial.

The editorial goes on:

The long history of the harmonious whole of the Workers' Party of Korea and the people is shedding more brilliant rays along with the history of Kim Jong Il's love for the people.

Born as a son of the people and grown up among the working people, he cherished the noblest outlook on the people and fully applied it to his leadership over the revolution. Possessed of the noblest ideological and moral qualities as a leader, revolutionary and human being, Kim Jong Il made ceaseless journeys to show loving care for the people till the last moments of his life.

Attaching importance to the people, respecting them and loving them--these were the basis and starting point of all his thoughts and practices. The people were the uppermost in his thinking and he pursued benevolent politics for the people and his personality was characterized by his noble popular traits.

Nobody was dearer than the people to him and he regarded it as his greatest duty to protect and glorify the destiny and dignity of the people.

His revolutionary career was the life of the tender-hearted father who dedicated himself to the happiness of the people and the life of the peerlessly great man who brought about epoch-making victories and changes by believing in the people and relying on them.

The editorial calls on all the service personnel and people to work harder to build a paradise for the people and the strongest power on this land, where the lifelong desire of the leader has become a reality, under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
