S. Korean Authorities Slammed for Fascist Suppression of Progressive Forces
Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- The policemen of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency conducted search operations against an organization affiliated to the Builders Trade Union and offices of the local trade unions belonging to it on December 2, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

The authorities hurled at least 100 police detectives, 6 companies of mobile police corps and others into the repressive operations under the pretext that they "planned and spearheaded the violent and radical demonstration".

Prior to this, the public security authorities searched headquarters of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and offices of the affiliated bodies on November 21, asserting that the KCTU played a key role in various struggle including the one held with the first anniversary of the ferry Sewol disaster as an occasion and the May Day rally.

Shortly ago, they made the search operation against the office of the Kyonggi Provincial Headquarters of the KCTU and were busy with "securing evidence" to prove the "violent act".

The fascist police, stooge of those in power, are persistently resorting to human rights violations to put down the workers' struggle against the traitorous rule.
