Simeon Ignatov, president of the Central Council of the Bulgarian Anti-Fascist Union, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events such as a remembrance meeting, seminar, photo exhibition and film show on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of his demise.
