S. Korean Authorities Blamed for Trying to Introduce "State-compiled" History Textbook
Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the General Association of Koreans in China issued a statement titled "It is a delusion to try to realize the silly dream about the second 'yusin' dictatorship" on Nov. 29.

It accused the south Korean conservative authorities of openly finding fault with the fellow countrymen to justify their unprecedented history coup, blustering the history textbooks being used at the schools have a lot of contents praising the north and carry its assertions just as they are.

It disclosed that through their moves to introduce the "state-compiled" history textbook the south Korean authorities seek a sinister intention to incite hostility, distrust and confrontation, justify their dictatorial rule, thoroughly dash the hope and desire of the people for independence, democracy and reunification and prolong their pro-U.S. and Japanese regime for an indefinite period by implanting the distorted and false impression of the DPRK into the minds of the young generation.

The General Association of Koreans in China and all Koreans in China extend full support and solidarity to the south Korean people who turned out in the massive struggle for resolutely checking and frustrating the conservative authorities' moves for introducing the "state-compiled" history textbook, it stressed.

The statement urged the south Korean conservative authorities to stop their moves for reviving the "yusin" dictatorship, bearing in mind that their racket for introducing the reactionary "state-compiled" history textbook is a foolish act precipitating their ruin only.
