Slaboy January Guzowski, chairman of the Central Committee of the Poland-Korea Association, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events including a remembrance meeting and seminar in the run-up to the 4th anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Il.
