Kim Jong Il Remembered in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- Events were held in foreign countries to remember leader Kim Jong Il on the 4th anniversary of his demise.

They included remembrance meetings in Iran and Nigeria and seminars in Germany and Austria from Nov. 22 to 24.

The director of the International Relations Department of the Iranian Workers' House in his speech praised Kim Jong Il as an outstanding great man recognized by the world, adding that he turned socialist Korea into a military power which no formidable enemy dares provoke.

The acting chairman of the Nigerian Group for Self-Reliance Studies said:

Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il devoted his all to the people.

The people's happiness was the greatest pleasure for him.

He made ceaseless journeys for field guidance despite scorching heat and intensive cold.

The chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany said the life of Kim Jong Il was characterized by his loving care and dedication to the country and its people.

The chief of the Youth Group for Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in Austria and other speakers said Kim Jong Il was not only a gifted thinker and theoretician who developed in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung but a great leader of the Korean people who firmly defended Korean-style socialism from the imperialists' moves to stifle it.
