S. Korean Conservative Ruling Forces' Vicious Moves to Obstruct Probe into Ferry Sinking Case Disclosed
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- The south Korean conservative ruling forces are obstructing the probe into the truth behind the sinking of ferry Sewol in a bid to evade responsibility for it.

The Yonhap News of south Korea said on Nov. 24 the Ad Hoc Committee for Probing the Truth behind the Ferry Sewol Disaster made a decision to look into what the chief executive had done for seven hours on the day of the disaster and Chongwadae's response to it.

But the spokesman for Chongwadae opposed the investigation, claiming the "president" and Chongwadae are not subject to investigation and it is unconstitutional.

The ruling "Saenuri Party" also opposed the decision, saying the "president" has nothing to do with the disaster.

Seoul Economic Daily on the same day denounced the ruling party for crying out for disbanding the Ad hoc committee.

According to it, the gentries of the "Saenuri Party" are crying out for disbanding the committee, asserting it is mulling revising the law for the immediate dismissal of the members of the committee and for the formation of a new committee.

These facts clearly revealed the true aim sought by the south Korean ruling forces to cover up the truth behind the sinking case and evade the responsibility.
