Rodong Sinmun Blasts U.S. Move to Sell New Type Missiles to S. Korea
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- The Bureau of Cooperation in Defence and Security under the U.S. Defense Department announced that the U.S. Department of State decided to sell to south Korea new type Harpoon missiles worth 110 million dollars, according to U.S. media.

It is said that the missiles manufactured by Boeing Company has two times longer firing range than those sold to south Korea in the past.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Sunday said this indicated that the U.S. reached a dangerous phase in its hostile policy towards the DPRK to egg the south Korean ultra-right conservative forces on to escalate the confrontation with the north, drive a wedge in the process for improving the inter-Korean relations and stifle the DPRK at any cost.

The aim sought by the U.S. through its arms sale is to pit Koreans against each other, the commentary notes, and goes on:

It is the scenario of the U.S. to continue using the south Korean military gangsters as a shock force for a war of aggression against the north and go over to an actual war any time. Herein lie the danger and gravity of the U.S. move to sell its new type missiles to south Korea.

The U.S. seeks another aim through its arms sale.

Not only the U.S. Department of Defense but also the administration is playing the role of an agent and broker by helping its munitions industries expand their arms markets to bring bigger profits to them.

South Korea has turned into a major market for U.S. weaponry.

The above-said facts go to prove that the U.S. is the arch criminal disturbing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. is sadly mistaken if it calculates it can browbeat someone with its new type missiles.
