We extend full support to the DPRK's fair and aboveboard proposal for replacing the Armistice Agreement with a peace treaty

It is more urgently required than ever before to defuse the tension which may spark a war on the Korean Peninsula and ensure the regional peace and stability.

Replacing the Armistice Agreement with a peace treaty in order to put a definite end to the vicious cycle of confrontation and escalating tension is the most important link in the chain of efforts for settling the issues between the DPRK and the U.S. and a matter on which the U.S. should make a bold decision.

The U.S. should accept the DPRK's proposal for concluding the peace treaty and opt for putting an end to the state of war on the peninsula.

We extend full support and solidarity to the DPRK in its efforts to protect the sovereignty of the country and nation from the U.S. hostile policy towards it.
