Ruling Party's Act of Submitting to Japan Assailed in S. Korea
Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea issued a statement on Nov. 18 in denunciation of the south Korean ruling party's submission to Japan in settling the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

The statement referred to the fact that the ruling party's humiliating acts scuttled a "National Assembly" meeting for bringing a bill on setting a day of the victims of the sexual slavery for Imperial Japanese Army up for discussion on Nov. 17.

The institution of the day was proclaimed at an Asian solidarity meeting for settling the issue of the sexual slavery in reflection of the world determination to remember Japan's crimes related to the sexual slavery and pool efforts to prevent the recurrence of such crimes, the statement said, and went on:

Every year not only Asian countries but also other countries around the world conduct information service and various other events through solidarity actions and give wide publicity to the institution of the day of the victims of sexual slavery for Imperial Japanese Army.

However, the "Saenuri Party" opposed the issue of bringing the bill up for discussion at the assembly meeting, saying that such an act could spark off the diplomatic friction with Japan.

Despite of the disclosure of the fact that Japan has no will to fulfill its state and legal responsibilities for the sexual slavery, the ruling party is resorting to a traitorous act of scuttling the recent meeting.
