Japan Denounced for Demanding Removal of Statue of Girl Sexual Slave
Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- A rally was held by people of all social standings in front of a statue of a girl sexual slave for the Imperial Japanese Army in Ulsan, south Korea on Nov. 21.

The speakers at the rally said that but for the Japanese imperialists' aggression of Korea in the past, there would not have been such a heart-breaking history in which lots of women were taken away as sexual slaves.

They demanded the Japanese government make an apology and reparation to the victims of the sexual slavery at an early date.

But Japan is demanding the removal of the statue indicative of the crimes related to the sexual slavery, far from making an apology and repentance, the speakers said.

They urged the regime to clarify its stand on Japan's colonial rule over Korea and the issue of the sexual slaves for the Imperial Japanese Army and come out for the settlement of the issue.

At the end of the rally, the participants conducted information service demanding the settlement of the issue of the sexual slavery.
